Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation– also called Physiatry – is a branch of medicine that specializes in diagnosis, treatment and management of disease primarily using "physical" means (such as physical therapy and medications). At Kadlec Neuroscience Center, our physiatrists are experts at diagnosing and treating pain; restoring maximum function lost through injury, illness or disabling conditions; treating the whole person, not just the problem area; providing non-surgical treatments; and working not only on treatment but also prevention.
